Naukri job fair in Hyderabad witnessed 42,000 walk-ins

Info Edge India, which owns jobs site Naukri.com, has said its two-day job fair organized on 2nd and 3rd February in Hyderabad witnessed the participation of over 42,000 job seekers of whom over 550 received spot offers and about 4,500 candidates were short listed by companies for interviews during the next 2-3 weeks.

Of the total number of registrations, 60 per cent of the jobseekers were at the fresher level, 25 per cent at mid management and 10 per cent at senior level. It was a multi-industry job fair, with participating companies from IT, ITeS, education and manufacturing among others, according to Naukri.

V Suresh, senior vice president, sales, Naukri.com, has said, “Hyderabad, one of the hottest job markets in India, responded very well to the job fair. With huge hiring requirements, the job fair facilitated recruitment and enabled jobseekers to fulfil their aspirations.”
