Yahoo India plans to hire 500 people by the end of 2008

Yahoo plans to hire 500 more people to increase its India headcount to 2,700 people from the current 2,200 by the end of 2008. At the beginning of this year, Yahoo India had about 1,200 people on its rolls.

“On an average, we are recruiting about 60-80 new employees every month since the start of this year and expect to continue the trend till the end of 2008,” Yahoo India has said.

Yahoo has its offices in three Indian cities -- Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai. The company’s operations in India are spread over Research & Development, Sales & Marketing and Research Lab, reports LiveMint.

but where does one apply for such openings in management/marketing/sales ? cant see any relevant openings on Yahoo India site - apart from yahoo R&D centre which is mostly technical profiles.

thats a good news but don't know why they layoff there almost 800 employees and now they are planing to hire more people.
