Online family tree builder Kindo launches its website in Hindi
16 July, 2008
UK-based Kindo.com, a family tree builder and photo sharing site, has launched its service in Hindi, one of the top five languages spoken in the world, with over 500 million native speakers, 330 million in India alone.
Nils Hammar, co-founder, Kindo, has said, “We're trying to get families from all over the world to interact online, by sharing information about themselves and photos from family events. I think this is especially attractive to cultures where family ties are strong, such as in India.”
“We believe internet access and usage will grow among Hindi speakers over the next few years, and that many Indians will want to use the service in their mother tongue,” Nils Hammar has added.

I doubt if this idea is too early for the Indian market.
I believe the family tree builder will not work in India at this point of time.
Families are connected by email , chat and the good old telephone.
Too many people entering this business.
We jus's saw Ibibo entering with one family.
